A Successful Event...

On behalf of the NABCJ DE Chapter and the Department of Correction I want to extend my sincerest thanks to all of you for your part in making the Mischief Night Haunted House Tour and Party a huge success. It is our estimation that more than 500 children and teens along with their parents or guardians attended the event and participated in all that was offered. The event happened without incident. Of course it was a challenge dealing with that many kids who were hyped up on all the candy all of you purchased… but that was a good thing as well.

We gave away hundreds of slices of pizza, nearly 500 bags of candy, 100 candy apples, 300 sodas, gallons and gallons of tea, 400 assorted cookies, 420 bags of chips, pretzels, popcorn and corn chips, hundreds of toys, stickers, pencils, flashlights for Halloween travel, and other novelties. All of this was made possible because of your kindness, work, support and the generosity of our staff and co-workers.

Thank you so much. We will be calling on you again next year for similar assistance.
